Location is very special. Beautiful valley and the mountains, easily accessible hiking trails and lots of nature spots to see. A gem! Breakfasts and dinners were included and they were quite nice. Not outstanding but a nice variety to choose from. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Nuria is a magical place. The hotel was very comfortable, extra points for the beds and sheets - never slept so well in a hotel room. Having my breakfast with a view to the mountains was also not bad at all.

Everything was excellent. Especially the staff, in reception, the restaurant and the bar. They were very helpful and always friendly. The room was great - comfy beds, good shower.

Excellent location, facing the lake, with a window view like a painting. The overall comfort of the room was good, breakfast and dinner were delicious, and although there were some communication barriers with the restaurant staff (I don't speak Spanish), I could feel their enthusiasm and friendliness. They also found candles and turned off the lights in the restaurant for my niece's 15th birthday, which was a great surprise!

Comfortable rooms with nice views. It's in a beautiful location, and great for star gazing at night. The staff was nice and helpful. I was able to take my dog on the trip and the restaurant staff was very patient with him despite my dog being annoying at times. So special thanks to the gentlemen working during breakfast time!

Located at 2000m in the heart of Vall de Núria, location is 10/10. Friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet. Easy access to nearby trails. Fair price

This is a historic hotel, in a beautiful natural setting. The rooms are simple but nostalgic, and they are comfortable enough for a couple of days you'll be spending in the mountains. Breakfast is plentiful, for every taste. The staff is simply exceptional and very hospitable. You feel welcome. It is worth it just for the experience, I would absolutely recommend it.

There are not many options to choose from in this area. But we enjoyed the stay very much. The rooms were average but the staff was pleasant and the breakfast was good too. Dinner was gorgeous and very rich on options and I can definitely recommend it. Both breakfast and dinner are buffets in which you can pick from whatever you like. They make steaks during the dinner and omelets for breakfast on top of what the buffet offers. For dinner a jar of water is included in the price but you also can purchase additional drinks and wines. Next to the lobby there is also a cafeteria with great hot chocolate ;), which is a good option to warm up a bit when returning from the cold weather outside.

The location was unbeatable - in the middle of unspoilt and scenic mountains with plenty of walking directly from the hotel. Getting to the hotel via the rack railway, an engineering feat in itself, was a very scenic journey - and booking it via the hotel gives one a discount of around 40% on the tickets. The room was very comfortable and very well decorated (we had opted for a deluxe room) but was certainly on the small side. The bar was very good - competitive prices (especially considering the captive audience) and nice service. Excellent information boards dealing with the fauna, flora, geography, history & culture (along with informative, well made videos) were set up in the immediately adjacent Nuria Valley visitor centre. Despite some reservations over the way breakfast was served (= rationed), we would definitely consider staying here again thanks to the opportunities that the unique location provides. All the staff were professional and friendly, from reception to the cleaners.
